To get me geared up for working on Firebrand again... someday, I'm going to start working on a project at LiveJournal. http://www.livejournal.com/community/myocs100/ I will draw 100 illustrations/sketches of my Firebrand characters according to prompts. I havent' started yet, but I have been sketching the characters so I can get a better feel for them again. These quick doodles are the result:    |

| Okay... so the revival didn't happen... yet | ||

I REALLY REALLY wanted to work on the comic some more, but life got in the way. I am working on the storyline, developing characters and setting, though. I've written the history of the Medistral Region, where Firebrand takes place. I've also worked on developing each of the characters more thoroughly and have new characters to introduce as soon as I get to drawing the pages again. I'm redesigning Jaymon a bit, though I'm still working on it, this is closer to what he shold look like:  I also have a new character all plotted out, her name is Etain. I won't say anything else about her for now, though. ^_^  I also have a couple of AWESOME gift arts to feature This one is by the amazingly talented Sierra. She did this for me in exchange for a website design (which I need to fINSIH! XD) http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/21296615/ These are of Jaymon, which I recieved as part of the weekly exchange group I participated in. this piece is by Leesers, who jsut does wonderful illustration work. | Delays | ||

I'd hoped I would be able to start working on the comic already, but some things have come up. A postition at the paper opened up that I've had my eye on for about 2.5 years. It's and illustration position, and I needed to create some examples. The past few weeks have been pretty busy, first preparing my portfolio and resume, then last week I've been working very hard at creating some examples based on a story I was given during my interview. Hopefully I will get the postition, and will soon be able to relax a bit again and work on the comic once again. |

I've done a quick redesign on the site. The character profile page still needs work, and I plan on adding more to my little menu eventually, but this will do for now. ^_^ I've written out a good chunch of chapter 2, but am kind of stuck again... oh well, I'll get back to it soon and hopefully inspiration will find me! I've posted Uneide's guest comic. There will be updates every other weekend. |

Today I posted a gift art from Steve to kick of my planned revival of Firebrand. There will be a 3 page guest comic by Uneide. It's a lovely little piece, and she captured my character so well! I was just amazed. ^_^ Rambling continued under the 'read more' link |

I've finally got this new news section up and running! The old one crapped out on me again, so I went and found this nifty script. ^_^ Anyway, Firebrand is on it's way to being revived! I've begun working on the story outline again and did some slight character redesigns. If you're interested in learning more about what I've got planned, then stop by my sketch blog!
