CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
Reunion

<<   Page 43   >>
Walking towards my destiny, something that I was getting used to, I was going on a dirt road, crawling. The injury that I had in the back of my left leg was getting more and more painful. Canon's swords pierced a hole in my leg but that Canon paid for what he did. The morning sun was heating the road. All around me, it was becoming uncomfortable: even the soft breeze that was blowing was making me feel horrible. The wind continued to blow in the same direction that I was going and I was wondering how I could get out of my pile of problems. Even if all was going bad for me, I did not give up hope, on the contrary, I refused that a pale figure with a scythe could come and take me away. After a little while, I arrived at a strange place, there were standing stones, rings of ashes and rings of stones. Just before I could get to a stone to try to get up, a sound disturbed my little crawling. I turned to look what it was and a face that I knew was right in front of me, it was Sky.

A small discussion start to from in the silence of the stones, “Hey! Long time no see!” Sky exclaimed.
