The mountain trail consisted of little more than rocky out croppings and light vegetation. The path, though not regularly traveled, was easy enough to follow, as if it had been etched into the rock face by the gods themselves. The horses' hooves clicked and clacked over the solid surfaces, echoing off the surrounding rock faces. Brightly colored lichens padded a few of the boulders, looking something like a patchwork quilt.
Spurring his mount ahead, Raven brought his horse along side the Elvin girl's. “Do you know that plant?" He asked, pointing out the lichens.
