I finally got through the vortex, some time after I was sucked in. I opened my eyes. All around me, the colours were floating around, spinning like a whirlwind. Unable to bear seeing the colours shifting and playing around, I began going down on the ground and eventually, I fell. On my hands, I could feel a soft carpet of grass. A little bit curious to know where I was, I opened my eyes, but my vision wasn't back yet. I waited again for a short while, and opened them again. All was back to normal now. I looked around, and a small forest, greeted me. I was in the middle of a clearing. Huge trees loomed above me, stretching up to the sky and blocking the color of the sky from entering the forest. On the ground, there was only grass, some plants and a lot of flowers. The atmosphere of this place was really calm. I could have stayed for a long time, but I had to find my way. Then, I realized something really important: I was lost in the middle of that green beauty. I got up and started to walk a little and I was surprised by one thing. As soon as I advanced a little, I could see the crickets and some other insects jumping around. They leapt playfully around, as if just for fun. I knew that the little walk wouldn't be as interesting as the insect's game.
I had been walking in the woods for quite a while. During that time, I tried to find my way out of this green spot, by trying to find my direction, or even a path traced by some friendly hands, but no, nothing could be found. I continued walking a little, and then I stopped at a little place to take a little break. I was getting thirsty, hungry, and my feet were aching from my long travel that went on without interruptions. I was so lucky to stop there: the place was really beautiful. Around me, some trees were covering some parts of the blue guardian. The sun was still passing between the leaves. In front of me, a small stream of water was rolling down the little path that could be more than a thousand years old. Just a little bit beside me, was a little apple tree. Strangely, the tree was pretty small and it was bearing big fruits for its height. I took a fruit and I began to eat it. It was a really good apple. I had never had one quite as good as this one. I then drank a little bit of water from the stream. It was really clear, and sweet. This was a surprising place. If only I could stay, I would spend hours in this enchanted place. I sat under the tree to listen to the beauty of nature. I looked around listen to the calm song of the birds. Some time later, I stood up, and I continued to find my way out of this great wood.
After a while, I was still walking around. I couldn't know the time or the direction I was headed: the leaves of all the trees created a green sealing which was hiding the only source to check in what direction I was going. Now, I knew that I was really lost, but I had no choice, but to walk around and find my way. Suddenly, I heard some noises coming from behind me. I turned around and a small green and ugly creature greeted me, with a stick right in its hands. He began attacking me with its weapon, but missed. With some slow reflexes, I readied myself for battle. Unfortunately, my staff broke in two at the first blow of my enemy's weapon. At that moment, I heard a small noise, as if two objects came in contact with each other... Since that event, my enemy seemed completely uninterested by my presence. He must be searching for that something, I thought. He doesn't even seem to realize that I'm here and that I can be a threat. As I looked on the grass to search for the treasure, I looked down, to find what the creature was interested in, and found a small pendant lying near a rock. My enemy used the speed tactic, which consists of stealing the object before I should start trying to get it, but I could see right through his plan. Just as he was about to take the pendant, I gave him a kick. As he fell on the floor, his eyes looked pretty angry. I don't think he liked that little blow. I took the prized object, and, as soon as I got it, the enemy came forward, and forward, with a look of the dark side in his eyes. I put my hand in front of me, and a strong wind started to blow. The little creature was lifted from its feet and was thrown away and violently hit a tree. At that moment, a thought came right out: if I had competition for that little object, I guess I should protect it with my life, and before I show it to anyone, I should be sure they could be trusted.
As I hid the pendant in my pocket, I realized something else: if the creature was against me, maybe he's not alone. I started to sneak away from the battle scene. After a while, I heard some voices, two persons were talking nearby. A little afraid of being outnumbered, I started running faster to find where exactly it was coming from. The sound was coming from behind me. I started to panic, I searched for somewhere to hide but nothing but trees could be seen. I placed myself behind a big tree, waiting for them to pass. Two persons finally came to a distance that I could see. I peeked a little to watch who was coming. Unfortunately, I could only see one of the two persons. The only person that I could see was a girl a little younger than me, with brown and silver hair. I could see that she was talking to someone, and that she was turned on her right. I didn't catch the discussion for one good reason: if I tried to catch what they said, they would surely spot me. I stayed where I was, not moving, fearing... But why am I fearing? The way they are going, they will never pass near me. Of course, they came a little closer to me, and I heard a part of their dialogue, but I didn't feel any threat. The only thing I heard was:
"Wind...blow...wind...blow...BLOW!" Strangely, the same thing that happened to me a minute ago: the wind started to blow. This time, it was getting stronger and stronger, and a small tornado formed. I had to be really careful since I didn't know what their intentions were. If they declared themselves as enemies, it would be dangerous to say there, but I couldn't run. If I ran, they would hear me and probably chase me around in the forest. A strange thing happened then: the whirlwind stopped turning clockwise, and went turning backwards. The girl put it back on its original path, but it didn't last long. I felt some strange heat coming from my pocket. I took out the pendant and a strange marking appeared on it. It was glowing of a bluish color. I then heard some footsteps coming towards my position. I was caught. Maybe they didn't know where I was, but I couldn't take the risk that they knew. I quickly hid the pendant in my pocket. The wind suddenly stopped, without warning, in some little time. It made me jump, and to calm myself, I put my hand on the tree, on the side of it. I didn't realize it, but I just made the mistake of my life. A few seconds later, the lady spotted me, and she began talking to me:
